Impact100 Chicago’s grant cycle occurs only one time per year. Our online grant application system is open in August with the Letters of Inquiry due at the end of September. Impact100 Chicago’s grant cycle includes a four-step grant application process. There is a down-selection after each step. Applicants are notified by e-mail after each step in the process. Please ensure you are familiar with the notification dates listed in the steps below. Check your e-mail (potentially spam or junk folders) to ensure you know your status and are ready for the next step in the application process.
Please note: All applying nonprofits must operate and be headquartered outside the Chicago city limits.
The 2020-2021 grant cycle has closed for LOI submission. Please check back during summer 2021 for information on the 2021-22 grant cycle. For additional information, continue reading about the grant process.
The first step in the process is to submit a Letter of Inquiry.
Following member committee review of the Letters of Inquiry, certain applicants will be selected to submit a full grant application.
For your reference, we have prepared a list of questions to consider in completing the Full Grant Application. Click here to see the list: Full Grant Application Questions
Following member committee review of the full grant applications, some applicants will be selected to participate in a site visit.
Following the site visits, each member committee will select a finalist to move to the final step in the grant application process.
