Impact100 Chicago’s grant cycle occurs only one time per year. Our online grant application system is open in early October with the Letters of Inquiry due at the end of October. Impact100 Chicago’s grant cycle includes a four-step grant application process. The field of applicants narrows at each step, and applicants will be e-mailed of their status at each stage. Please ensure you are familiar with the notification dates listed in the steps below. Check your e-mail (potentially spam or junk folders) to ensure you know your status and are ready for the next step in the application process.
Please note: All applying nonprofits must operate and be headquartered outside the Chicago city limits.
For additional information, continue reading about the grant process.
The first step in the process is to submit a Letter of Inquiry.
Following member committee review of the Letters of Inquiry, certain applicants will be selected to submit a full grant application.
For your reference, we have prepared a list of questions to consider in completing the Full Grant Application. Click here to download the list: Full Grant Application Template
Following member committee review of the full grant applications, some applicants will be selected to participate in a site visit.
Following the site visits, each member committee will select a finalist to move to the final step in the grant application process.
